Easily accessible by car, it is just 5 km away from the Aurelia highway that connects Rome to the Ligurian coast. Close to several train stations that connect the area with the main cities of Tuscany – Pisa, Siena and Florence-and the rest of the peninsula.

FLORENCE: (Peretola Airport – FLR) 134 km – you can book cars + direct connection with the railway station of Firenze SMN
ROME: (Fiumicino Airport – FCO) 193 km – you can book cars + direct connection with railway stations of Termini and Tiburtina -
For guests wishing to travel by train, excellent rail connections are available from Florence, Pisa, and Rome airports.
The nearest railway station to La Pescaia Resort is Grosseto Station, located approximately 25 km from the estate (around 25–30 minutes by car).
Direct train services operate from:
Rome Termini to Grosseto (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes)
Florence SMN to Grosseto (approximately 2 hours 15 minutes)
Pisa C to Grosseto (approximately 1 hour 20 minutes)
Guests can arrange a taxi from Grosseto Station to La Pescaia Resort, or alternatively hire a rental car from Grosseto should they wish to explore the surrounding region during their stay.

We hope La Pescaia Resort will be a fun and relaxed place for our guests during our wedding weekend. On our wedding day, we invite guests who are staying with us to enjoy the hotel facilities such as the pool, gardens and restaurant/bar before getting ready for the evening. The restaurant is open for lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, and breakfast is served from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
For guests looking to explore the area before the festivities begin we recommend the following;
For wine tasting visit Le Mortelle and Sequerciani, both located approximately 15 minutes from La Pescaia
Rocca di Frassinello is also definitely worth a visit, especially for those who are passionate about wine and architecture
Visit Punta Ala, a lovely destination for a relaxing day by the sea
Visit Castiglione della Pescaia and its charming historic center
Explore some of the Maremma’s historic villages, such as Massa Marittima, or Vetulonia for those interested in the region’s history and archaeological heritage
Guests wanting to immerse themselves into the Tuscan way of living, can register their interest in either wine tasting or a cooking class.

Wedding Day - Black Tie. Traditional formal wear for men and long evening dresses for women. Dress to impress is encouraged.
Pool Party - Beach Boujee. Put on your fanciest beach wear and be ready to cure that hangover.

We welcome children to our Day 1 - The Welcome Dinner and our Day 3 - The Pool Party but ask that our Wedding Day celebrations remain child free. Nanny services can be available on request to help you enjoy the weekend to the fullest. Please indicate on your RSVP if this is something you want to explore.

We feel incredibly lucky to have you joining us in Italy to celebrate our wedding. We know that travelling to be with us is already a very special gift, and we truly couldn’t ask for anything more.
